Today was a great day at church. One of our youngest guys sang today for the first time. He did a great job. Our pianist was out today so guess who got to fill in? Me! That was a miracle. I have not toched a piano in years. I did the best I could and somehow we made it through.
After church 15 or so of us went to a new restaurant in Lamar. It was really great. It was good to have everyone together to enjoying a meal.

On December the 17th 2006 my husband and myself walked through the doors of CBC for the first time to see my son's fiancee's daughter in a play, Here it is almost 2 years later and we are still there.
Since that day in December, my son married and now they have a 4 month old daughter, we are all now a part of a loving Church family at CBC.
You can feel the presence of the Lord in this Church, not to mention the love each person has for one another, time you walk in.
Cartersville Baptist Church is a small county Church, but I can assure you there is more love in this Church then if it was A Church 10 times it size.

Our Pastor and his wife are amazing, always there when you need them, always willing to jump in and do what ever it takes, and most of the time you don't even have to ask, they just seem to know what others need. I know they have been a blessing to me and my family. I speak for myself and my family we have found a place at CBC.
Not only does the people of Cartersville Baptist Church stand by it's members,we also reach out to the community to lend a helping hand for what ever need my arise.
I encourage anyone looking for a place to worship to come and join us, I can assure you, you will find a Church home and a loving church family, and you will be welcome with open arms form each and everyone there.
