National Day of Prayer

Last night our church observed the National Day of Prayer a day early. Young and old gathered in the field next to the church to pray for our community, city, county, state and government. It was truly a blessing to see everyone with their heads bowed praying at the same time. As the prayers ended, we moved closer to the road to let go red, white, and blue balloons to let everyone know in our area that we had prayed. We had attached cards to the balloons with information about our church. In David's closing prayer he prayed specifically for the balloons and who might receive one. He prayed that the balloons would land in someone's hand who might need a home church. This was a great celebration.

The next few months, are packed full of exciting and wonderful things happening at Cartersville. We look forward to this Sunday in Celebration of Mother's Day. In a few weeks we will celebrate with our high school graduates as we present Bibles to those who are graduating from high school and heading off to college. At the end of the month, we will celebrate Baptism with the potential of four being baptised. We will also share special music and testimonies during this service and of course end with a great covered dish meal afterwards.

During the month of June we will be preparing for camp and Vacation Bible School.

Please come and be a part of the exciting and wonderful things that are happening at Cartersville. We look forward to seeing you this coming Sunday morning and in the weeks of come.
